The SNAP program provides low-income individuals and families with resources to purchase food and is based upon income, resources, and the number of individuals in a household. For more information on how to qualify, click here or call 1-855-697-4347.

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a seasonal program that normally runs from October-April. Per season, a one-time supplemental grant is sent directly to the heating vendor who then credits the client’s account for the amount specified. Eligible clients also qualify for a reduced electric rate as well as a discount on their telephone bill. For more information on how to qualify visit EBCAP or call 401-437-5102.

The Senior Services provides seniors with options and resources to help them remain in the community and avoid falls, hospitalizations and nursing home placement. For more information visit EBCAP or call 401-437-1000 ext 156.

Since 1977, Women’s Resource Center (WRC) has been a listening ear, a helping hand and in some cases, a lifeline to individuals experiencing domestic violence. The overarching goal of WRC is that through education and intervention, there will one day be a world without domestic violence.
